Prior to joining AWS, Mackenzie was the Head of Technical Operations at Betterment, the world’s largest independent robo-advisor based in NYC which manages over $8B in assets. Mackenzie was a founding engineer and Head of Technical Operations at Oscar Health, an insurance startup also based in NYC, helping to grow the company to over 400+ employees.

In this hands-on workshop, attendees will learn how to leverage the power of Amazon Q Developer to quickly build a well-architected, three-tier application that utilizes cutting-edge generative AI (GenAI) services. Starting from scratch, participants will use Amazon Q Developer to write AWS CDK code and provision the necessary cloud infrastructure, including Amazon Bedrock for large language models, Amazon API Gateway for API management, and AWS Lambda for serverless compute. By the end of the workshop, attendees will have a fully-functioning, cloud-hosted GenAI application up and running in under an hour.

Automate Ai-Assisted Code Reviews With Anthropic’s Claude 3 on Amazon Bedrock and Github Actions

In this workshop, participants will build ai-pr-reviewer, an AI-based code reviewer and summarizer for GitHub pull requests using Bedrock's Anthropic Claude models. ai-pr-reviewer is designed to be used as a GitHub Action and can be configured to run on every pull request and review comments. Users will learn how to design and implement automation through Github Actions and how to interface with Anthropic Claude 3 on Amazon Bedrock to conduct code review tasks.

Adam Rothenberg is a Co-founder and Partner of BoxGroup, a New York City based early stage venture capital fund.
